Sweet Limes belong to the genus Citrus limettioides and have a unique flavour. They are tangy, mildly sweet, and juicy. Sweet limes have the same essence as lime but without the pucker-inducing qualities. Since they have a low acidic content, their flavour is slightly flatter and mellower than other citrus fruits. The origins of the Sweet Lime are unknown; however, they are grown in hot climatic conditions and are said to be a hybrid between a Mexican lime and a sweet lemon.

Tasting Notes: The combination of Sweet Lime Juice and Pineapple is peppy and kicks up the citrus punch in the cocktail. The Sweet Lime Juice has a fresh and refreshing taste. The Pineapple goes hand in hand with the sharp bite of tequila. The black salt, pepper, and the chaat masala on the rim elevate the flavour of the two fruit juices. The grenadine syrup adds a splash of colour and oomph to the cocktail as well as balancing the sweetness along with the agave syrup.
